International Academy of Design & Technology Features Penny Bonda at Campus Green Conference
Troy, MI (PRWEB) February 8, 2008 -- On Friday, February 29, 2008, from 8:30am-2:00pm, the International Academy of Design & Technology will be hosting its annual Interior Design Conference, Campus Green, at its Troy location. Campus Green is a day dedicated to educating students and professionals about the applications of environmentally-friendly design and products for interiors. It also includes guest speakers, a showcase of student work, and a special presentation of a community based Design Challenge? project.
This year Penny Bonda, FASID, NCIDQ, LEED AP, popularly referred to as the mother? of green interiors, will be the featured guest speaker at 10am. Bonda is the founding chair of the US Green Building Council committee for LEED Commercial Interiors and the ASID Sustainable Design Council, and is currently developing REGREEN, the USGBC / ASID Green Residential Remodeling Program. During Campus Green at the Academy, Bonda will introduce the guidelines for REGREEN to the attendees, which is set to publicly launch March 14, 2008.
Tickets must be obtained in advance and are available to purchase at the Academy in Troy (1850 Research Drive). Complimentary tickets are available for current Academy students and faculty, for all other guests tickets are $20 per person.

The International Academy of Design & Technology currently offers degree programs in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Game Design, Fashion Design, and Digital Media. The career-oriented degree programs provide hands-on training and real-world insights, taught by industry professionals who work in the fields in which they teach.
